Märklin "Fire Department Train"
( Deutsche Feuerwehr )

This project was started when I got inspired by the Märklin Starter Set 29751.

The Diesel V100 (BR 212) came with High Efficiency Propulsion 5-pole Motor
and a digital decoder for motor control and lights.
There was a problem to get power from the rails to the loco.
The ground connection is really a design problem, we got it fixed.
In the next step the decoder got replaced with a mfx sound decoder,
that's a lot more fun with all the additional functions.

Here is the recent configuration. Two V100 running in a consist. Both equipped
with mfx sound decoders, the sound is slightly off in timing. Sounds great.

The ESU LokSound mfx decoder on the left above the gear box.
The huge speaker takes a lot of space.

The other side with a 3 pin connector for the blue warning light on the roof.

Here is the consist of 3 V100 BR 212 equipped with LokSound mfx decoders.
The first Loco is equipped with two blue warning lights on the roof and the
original sound of a German Fire Department Siren.

The German Fire Department Train: 3 V100 Diesel Loco's and 35 different
German Fire Department cars from Märklin.

Oops! The disaster Train found himself in a disaster.
